Cost

This program is grant funded.  There is no cost to participants who are selected.

Is this program right for you?

This Program may be a good fit if you are:

  • In a place where you feel ready for growth and exploration
  • Open to being part of a consistent group over time
  • Interested in creative expression, even if it feels new
  • Curious about reconnecting with your voice and sense of self
  • Open to participating in both a performance and a documentary

You do not need any prior acting or creative experience.

Commitment and Structure

Commitment and Structure

This program is a year-long commitment designed to support a gradual and meaningful creative process.

Timeline:

August 2026 – August 2027

Schedule:

Every other Saturday from 10:00am – 12:00pm

As the program moves into the rehearsal and performance phase, there may be additional time commitments, which will be discussed and shaped collaboratively with the group.

Participants are asked to attend consistently and engage in the group process to support both their own experience and the collective work.

The Documentary

This program includes the creation of a documentary that captures the journey of participants throughout the year.

The film is intended to deepen public understanding of survivors’ experiences, while highlighting growth, creativity, and resilience. It invites audiences to move beyond judgment and see the humanity within these stories.

Participation will be handled with care, and consent will be ongoing and respected throughout the process.

This is not just a film about survival — it is a film about becoming.

Is This Right for You?

This program may be a good fit if you:

  • Have experienced interpersonal abuse and are no longer in immediate crisis
  • Feel ready for growth, exploration, and trying something new
  • Are open to being part of a consistent group over time
  • Are interested in creative expression, even if it feels unfamiliar
  • Feel curious about reconnecting with your voice and sense of self
  • Are open to participating in both a performance and a documentary

You do not need any prior acting or creative experience.

You don’t have to feel “ready” in a perfect way.
If something in you feels curious, pulled, that can be enough.

A Note on Support

This is a trauma-informed program designed to be supportive and empowering. While this space can be deeply meaningful, it is not therapy or crisis care.

Participants are encouraged to have outside support (such as a therapist or trusted relationships) while engaging in this experience.

If this resonates, you're welcome to apply!

After you apply, we will review your responses and reach out to schedule a short Zoom conversation with our team to explore whether this feels like a good fit.
